A one day conference entitled “Opportunities in Rural Areas” is being held in Ballybofey on Wednesday 17th September to mark the achievements of the River Links Project.
Donegal County Council is the lead partner in the River Links Project. Project partners include Strabane District Council and BASICC (Ballybofey & Stranorlar Integrated Community Company LTD). This cross border INTERREG IVA Project has its focus on the East Donegal and West Tyrone areas and will be concluding in the Autumn.
Best practice examples in rural development will be showcased on the 17th including a micro brewery, village renewal, new technology and tourism infrastructure.
